ELECTRIC Feel put up a career best effort to land the 7f Radley Stakes at Newbury Saturday afternoon.
The daughter of Firebreak, a 15/2 chance, always travelled strongly under Andrea Atzeni and showed a willing attitude to take this Listed prize.
Having been settled in midfield she began to make progress with 2f to go, taking up the running just outside the furlong marker.
When challenged by ZA ZA Zoom in the closing stages she stayed on gamely and was going away again at the finish with the winning margin given as a length and a quarter.
Botti said:"It's great for the owner Joey Barton who is recovering from a operation. The filly looked good after possibly getting to the front a shade too soon.
"It's hard to say whether she'll be a Guineas filly because she's small and much will depend on how she develops through the winter.
"The Guineas could be aiming a bit high, but I'd certainly hope to bring her back in one of the trials."
