ALL FOR YOU provided Green Ridge Stables with a welcome winner as she came with a decisive challenge at Lingfield on Saturday night (June 27).
The High Chaparral filly, second last time at Nottingham, secured her first career success at the fourth time of asking as she took 7f fillies' handicap.
Jockey Alan Munro held her up on the stands' side rail and she settled well in behind a group of horses.
For a moment or two there was a concern that a split might not come in time for her. But as they approached the final furlong, Munro switched her left and she picked up really well.
All For You burst between the two leaders inside the closing furlong and ran on to score by a length and a quarter.
The win had certainly been coming for trainer Marco Botti and his team following a series of near misses.
Earlier in the day Electric Feel had run a fine race to earn some 'black type' finishing third in the Listed Empress Stakes at Newmarket.
Another filly to also recently enhance her pedigree - and future broodmare status - was Princess Taylor, second, beaten half a length, in the Warwickshire Oaks at Warwick.
