Botti's thoughts on juvenile runners

ELECTRIC Feel is likely to remain in Pattern company following her sixth-placed effort in the Group 3 Coolmore Fillies Stakes at Naas on Monday.

The Newmarket maiden winner was only beaten just over five lengths in a race that didn't pan out as connections had hoped. Botti said: "She ran a good race but it was not run to suit her as they went very slowly and then sprinted for three furlongs."She was not beaten far and has taken the race well. She may run in the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot or perhaps a Listed race (the Empress Stakes) at Newmarket. She should be able to get some black-type."

Another two-year old from Green Ridge Stables, Lady Royal Oak, ran a very encouraging race at Nottingham on the 3rd June.

The daughter of Exceed and Excel showed a lot of speed and led until well inside the final furlong when she was headed by two others to finish a close up third.

Botti added:"She is a very fast filly and I was pleased with her run. She should come on a lot for that and win a maiden soon."
