GITANO Hernando heads the four-strong team set to represent trainer Marco Botti at this years's Dubai International Racing Carnival.
The 2010 series of meetings will take place for the first time at the fabulous Meydan complex.
Botti will ship Ceremonial Jade, Drogba and Soneva towards the end of the month - and the plan is for the trio to be joined by Gitano Hernando in March.
Group 1 winner Gitano Hernando has the Carnival's climax, the Dubai World Cup, as his objective on March 27.
Botti said: "Gitano Hernando is in full work and I am very happy with him. Despite the weather, he looks really well and has a shine to his coat.
"The plan is to run him in the Listed Winter Derby Trial on February 27. If everything is fine, then after that he will head to Dubai for the World Cup."
The carnival gets underway on January 28, but Botti's Dubai campaign will get underway a week later on February 4. Both Drogba and Ceremonial Jade will be given two entries each for rated handicaps and Soneva is scheduled to start off by tacking the Group 3 Cape Verdi for fillies and mares. The four-year-old has yet to run for Botti but showed a good level of form in France, winning a Group 3 in each of the last two seasons.
Botti said:"She has really been doing well since coming to us and is working nicely. I am lookimg forward to running her in Dubai".
