FALCATIV rounded off a great week for trainer Marco Botti with victory in a Class 2 handicap at Kempton on December 20.
Botti, successful with Gracious Melange and Splinter Cell on Wednesday and Thursday respectively, saw Falcativ follow up his early December win at Lingfield with another stirring performance.
Jockey Jerry O'Dwyer held up the 3/1 favourite before asking him to assert from 2f out.
The four-year-old, who has now won both of his starts since joining the Green Ridge Stables team, sped through the closing strides to hit the front and then held the late challenge of Aeroplane.
The victory margin was three quarters of a length as Botti's strong finish to 2009 continues.
