FIULIN has left the Marco Botti stable having been sold at the Tattersalls Horses In Training sale for 280,000 on Wednesday.
The son of Galileo has been a credit to all at Green Ridge Stables having won three times and been placed no less than five times.
He ran once at two when he went into many people's notebooks by finishing a good second at Nottingham in November.
Fiulin's first win came in the hands of Ted Durcan at the third time of asking in a 1m4f maiden at Doncaster where he demolished the field by four lengths.
He then went on to land a 1m 6f handicap at Yarmouth in the style of a cup horse in the making before bringing the curtain down on 2008 with a tremendous effort to be third in the Jockey Club at Newmarket.
2009 got off to the best possible start for the colt formerly owned by Scuderia Rencati Srl' as he took the Further Flight Stakes by the convincing margin of six lengths.
Since then Fiulin has run with credit in races such as the Yorkshire Cup and Henry II Stakes.
Being a Listed winner by the great Galileo, Fiulin was sure to attract considerable interest when he entered the sale ring.
He looked a picture and sure enough plenty came to watch him through before the hammer finally fell to Glamorgan - based trainer Evan Williams who purchased him to go hurdling for a handsome sum.
A delighted Williams said: "We've been looking for a couple of high-class hurdlers for a long time and have been putting a lot of footwork into finding them.
"We've seen everything we want in this horse and were very taken with him as an individual.
"He's a big scopey horse who looks like he'll enjoy jumping hurdles"
