Neve Lieve and Splinter Cell score impressive wins

Three-year-old filly and two-year-old colt continue stable

The victory of Splinter Cell on 7 August was a notable one for the style in which the two-year-old son won his maiden.  Having his second start at Haydock, the son of Johannesburg appreciated the step up to a mile (the first race over a mile for juveniles this season). The experience of his previous run, when he was third over seven furlongs at Leicester, stood him in good stead as he quickened away from a full field to win by three-and-a-half lengths.

Splinter Cell is owned by E Bulgheroni and looks to have a promising future.

Neve Lieve has hit a streak of form, winning for the second time in just over a month, when taking the final race of the day, a handicap at Yarmouth on 13 August.   The three-year-old filly is a daughter of crack miler Dubai Destination and owned by The Great Partnership.  She showed herself to be a cut above her rivals by winning by three lengths.
