LITTLE Garcon got off the mark at the third time of asking in a 6f maiden at Wolverhampton friday evening.
The son of Bernstein, a half-brother to I1 Waard, looked to have come on for his two previous runs and showed a good attitude to land this contest.
Sent off a 25/1 chance, jockey Andrea Atzeni settled his mount towards the rear.
Little Garcon looked to be a little short of room rounding the bend but when in the clear he ran on well to win going away by a length and a quarter.
Joey Barton's juvenile looks to be progressing and can hopefully build on this in the future.
