Stable secretary Jo is responsible for maintaining the order and efficient running of Green Ridge Stables.
This is her first secretarial role but she has gained a vast amount of experience in a 20-year racing career.
She started out as a 16-year-old at Luca Cumani’s and worked her way up through the ranks from stable groom to key work-rider.
From 1995–1997 Jo was work rider at Godolphin Stables in Newmarket, where she was able to work with such champions as Lammtarra, Mark Of Esteem and Halling. After this, Jo returned to Cumani’s Bedford House base where she was a valued member of staff for the next decade.
Her work-riding experience has also been used to good effect on the racecourse where Jo was victorious in three Arab-Bred races for trainer Sarah Kelleway. |
