Mario has now been with the Marco Botti team for the past season and he has played a vital role in the preparation of the former stable star Excelebration. Mario was Excelebration’s regular rider and helped prepare him for his big race days.
Mario joined the Marco Botti team in 2011, on a recommendation from his last employer, top Italian trainer Mil Borromeo.
Mario has ridden 37 international winners as a gentleman amateur jockey and has represented his native Italy in the world renowned Fegentri series.
Mario brings a sharp eye to the team and will assist Marco for the 2012 season.
