Brex Drago has his first start in Meydan for Prestige Place

Brex Drago joined the Prestige Place stables just before the Christmas festivities, No sooner had the son of Mujahid settled in than he was packing his cases for the trip to Dubai.

Brex Drago is no stranger to the Botti family being trained in Italy by Marco’s brother, the globetrotting 5 year old has had 20 starts in his career, 9 of them wins and 5 places. He takes his place on Thursday afternoon in the 2000 meter¬†District One Mansions¬†Handicap on the turf track, he is drawn 1 of the 14 runners and looks to face a competitive field.

Brex Drago is under a new ownership with Mr Renanto Bruni, although Mr Bruni has had much luck with horses with Marco in the past being involved in Pelerin, who claimed some good black type and is now enjoying her second career as a broodmare. Antonio Fresu is the jockey for Brex Drago and looks to complete the Italian connection, Antonio has enjoyed plenty of success over the 2016/17 season in Dubai.
