Busy Easter Weekend for Prestige Place

It looks to be a busy weekend this weekend at Prestige Place, we look to have 3 runners on Good Friday, Grendisar heading to Lingfield to defend his crown in the Middle Distance Championship with £125,000 up for grabs for the winning horse. He has been unlucky in his last few starts this season, with the races just not falling to plan for him.

We also look to have runners at Newcastle and Bath, with Wild Hacked who was 2nd last time out looking towards scooping the £50,000 prize that is on offer for the handicap on Good Friday. Brex Drago has an entry at Bath – a real change of scenery from the racecourse at Meydan – which was where he had his last start.

Saturday see’s Raven’s Lady having her seasonal debut, in the fillies class 2 handicap, she is stepping up to a mile for the first time and it is 190 days since her last run. “She is fit and well in herself and her homework is good.” Added trainer Marco Botti.

Aljazzi is looking to have her seasonal debut in the listed Snowdrop Stakes as her starting point for her 4 year old campaign. Aljazzi will be partnered by Ryan Moore and has been showing her lust for life in her work at home.

We then look to round the Easter weekend off with Velvet Revolution, he is now a 4 year old and he is stepping up to the 2 mile trip at Kempton. He has early entries later in the season for the Chester Cup and looks to be shaping into an exciting long distance prospect.

Velvet Revolution- who along with Raven’s Lady will carry the Heart Of The South Racing’s colours, this weekend.
