The highly progressive three year old is cataloged (Lot 25) in this years Goffs London Sale that is held on the eve of Royal Ascot. The sale takes place at 5pm on Monday 18th June at the Orangery, Kensington Palace.

The Middleham Park Racing owned son of Dark Angel has finished in the top four on his last five starts, all of which came in stakes company.

Dark Acclaim finished a close third to subsequent Belmont Stakes runner-up Gronkowski in the Listed Burradon Stakes at Newcastle in March. He also holds an entry in the King George V Stakes (Class 2 Handicap) at Royal Ascot on Thursday.

Domitilla’s Impressive Comeback

The Scuderia Blueberry SRL owned Domitilla returned to a racecourse on Wednesday after 182 days off the track. The daughter of Cape Cross has not been seen on the racecourse since her last win at Lingfield back in December.

On Wednesday she lined up in the 3.50pm Capital Roofing Fillies’ Handicap at Wolverhampton, partnered by our apprentice jockey Marc Monaghan the pair ran a gutsy race taking the lead about 6f out in the 7f competition. The filly ran on well to win by four lengths to the second placed horse Sonnett Rose. Domitilla is currently in foal to New Approach and will hopefully have one more start before being retired as a broodmare.

Narrowly Denied In French 1000 Guineas

Capla Temptress owned by successful American syndicate Team Valor, made her three year old debut in the Group 1 Emirates Poule d’Essai des Pouliches at Longchamp on Sunday. The filly landed a respectable draw out of stall two from the fourteen runner race and ran a gallant race to finish fourth beaten less than a length by the winner Teppal.

The daughter of Lope De Vega is no stranger to big race days having landed the Group 1 Natalma Stakes at Woodbine Racetrack as a two year old. We are very happy with the way she has come out of the race and Marco will no discuss with the owners where they should run her next.

Promising Seasonal Debut For Aljazzi

Aljazzi made a promising start to her five year old career when finishing a honorable third in the Group 2 bet365 Mile at Sandown on Friday. She has come out of the race well and will now be readied for the Group 2 Duke of Cambridge Stakes at Royal Ascot in June.

First Win For Blame Me Forever

On Thursday Blame Me Forever lined up in the 8.45pm Book Tickets At chelmsfordcityracecourse.com Handicap at Chelmsford. The daughter of Blame was having her fourth start to date, after 82 days off the track.

After a steadied start she was held up in touch before making headway 2f out and went onto lead inside the final furlong to hang on by a nose to the second placed horse Deadly Reel. The filly owned by Mr R Bruni & Partner has come out if the race well and will be give a couple of easy weeks before being targeted for next start.

Raven’s Lady Beats The Boys

Raven’s Lady made all on Saturday to land the Betfred “Supports Jack Berry House” Handicap (Class 2) at Kempton by 2 1/2 lengths under a perfectly timed race by jockey Andrea Atzeni. Having not been seen on the track since January, Raven’s Lady was the only filly to line up in strongly contested 8 runner race.

The filly is now the winner of four races and picked up over £15,000 for that win. She has come out of the race well and her connections are hopeful that she might be able to pick up some nice black type on the turf this season.

Second Success for Volevo

Volevo Lui landed back to back wins on Thursday when landing the On The Hoof Dining In The Hotel Restaurant Handicap (Class 4) at Wolverhampton. The lightly raced colt chased the leaders before being shaken up over 2f out and under a decisive ride by Marc Monaghan he went on to win the race by a comfortable 1 1/4 lengths.

The three year old is now the winner of two race from four starts for connections Scuderia Blueberry SRL. He has come out of the race well and If all goes to plan he could well line up in the Group 2 Italian Derby towards the end of May.

Rosebery Win For Crowned Eagle

On Saturday Crowned Eagle landed the class two Rosebery Handicap at Kempton on just his third start for his new connections. The son of Oasis Dream jumped prominently and led from the start, he kept on well through out the race and went on to win by 3/4 lengths to the second placed horse Kelly’s Dino.

Crowned Eagle is now the winner of three races from eleven starts and he picked up over £30,000 in prize money for that win. The four year old looks to be an exciting prospect for the upcoming season for owners Excel Racing & Les Boyer.

Gala Lands First British Victory

After a few near misses Kyllachy Gala landed his first winner in the UK on Wednesday when landing the 32Red Handicap at Kempton for his syndicate owners Excel Racing. He has given a perfectly timed ride under stable apprentice Gabriele Malune to get up and win the race by a neck to the second place horse Pactolus.

Kyllachy Gala is now the winner of five races from 25 starts and has notched up nearly £60,000 in prize money to date. 

Second Win For Jellmood

Jellmood landed the toteexacta Pick The 1st And 2nd Novice Stakes at Chelmsford Racecourse on Saturday, giving him his second victory to date since his gelding last year. Jellmood owned by Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Maktoum went on to win decisively by two lengths to the second placed horse Intense Pleasure.
