Runners at Newmarket as the Turf Racing Starts in HQ

This week looks to be a busy one at Prestige Place, with the Tattersalls Breeze up sales in full flow as well as racing starting on the turf here at the Head quarters of horse racing.

Prestige Place is sending out 2 runners on the first day of the Craven Meeting. The first is Brex Drago and smart colt who has not long returned from Dubai, he is a nice handicapper and this looks a good place to start him off. Ideally he would like a little more cut in the ground as the going is sure to be on the quicker side of good as there has been a distinct lack of rain, combined with a drying wind. We also have Al Hamdany running in the Listed Fielden Stakes over 1m1f, he is partnered by Harry Bentley and this is his first start in his 3 year old season. He ended last season on a high, being narrowly beaten in a listed race at Pontefract in October 2016. We hope to see him make a good account of himself here, on his 3 year old debut.
